Murakami Trilogy

For this book jacket design project, I created a surreal, dreamlike aesthetic for three of Haruki Murakami’s novels—A Wild Sheep Chase, The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, and Kafka on the Shore. Each cover was digitally illustrated, using blues, yellows, and bold reds to reflect themes of loneliness, self-discovery, illumination, and fate. Hidden shapes and inverted colors enhance the abstract, illusionary feel, capturing the fluid, ambiguous nature of Murakami’s worlds. The design invites readers into a space where reality and fantasy intertwine.
